The Winslow Farr Sr. Family Organization welcomes people from all walks of life to join us in the search for our ancestors. By completing a short information form and enclosing your annual dues, you become a member of the Winslow Farr Sr. Family Organization. 

Benefits of Membership

Why should you join the Winslow Farr Sr. Family Organization?  If you are a descendant of Winslow Farr Sr., you have a lot to gain from membership. Membership in the Farr family organization provides a wealth of information to strengthen your family's understanding and appreciation of your proud heritage:

Preserving our heritage. Your continued membership in the Farr family organization will help us continue to discover, document, and preserve our proud heritage.  Preserving our past is all about building and strengthening our future.

Share stories about our ancestors with your children and grandchildren.  Knowing the strength of our heritage provides us and our children with the lessons of life and the courage we need to succeed in a challenging present and uncertain future. 

Add new names to your pedigree charts.  We are constantly adding and correcting names on our pedigree charts.  We continue to work on adding proof to our recent Farr line breakthrough to England.

Participate in the research of your heritage.  Your dues and research contributions assist with the work of researching our family heritage.  You can also get involved by accepting an assignment to search a specific surname instead of starting your work at the beginning or repeating work already completed.  You can also have the opportunity to learn from the experienced genealogists on our Research Committee.

Enjoy reunions and research meetings. The Farr family reunions include update sessions on the latest family history research discoveries, children's activities, memorabilia exhibits, picnics, a temple session using Farr names, a historical tour, and entertainment - the perfect setting for getting to know your extended family.  For those interested, there are twice yearly meetings with updates from the Research Committee.

The Farr Family Newsletter. With your annual membership, you will receive a subscription to the family newsletter that is mailed out in January and June.  This interesting and well-written newsletter presents personal histories of Farr ancestors, and updates on family research and upcoming family events.
