SUSAN EASTON BLACK
Susan spent over 100 hours editing and putting in chapter form the original research by David J. Farr for the new Lorin Farr Biography. Susan is a popular author and lecturer on church history. She is a professor of Church History and Doctrine and Brigham Young University , having published over 100 books. She was very happy to see the biography, Lorin Farr: Mormon Statesman , the pre-eminent pioneer and leader of Weber County . Susan is married to Harvey Black. They have 8 children.
AMY OAKS LONG
Amy was a research assistant to Susan Black in the 1980's. Since then, she has published her own book on doing family histories and has a website. She has published nearly 70 books on family history and biographies. Amy is pictured here with 8 notebooks of original research done by Dave Farr on the back shelf, which she organized and edited. After 14 months of diligent work, Amy and her valued assistants were happy to see Lorin Farr: Mormon Statesman go to print and distribution. Amy is an Assistant Professor of Family History at Brigham Young University and is currently on sabbatical with her husband Lance who is teaching law at the University of Oregon . They have 5 children.

DAVID J. FARR
David Farr is extremely pleased to see Lorin Farr: Mormon Statesman in print after nearly 15 years of research into Lorin Farr's life. He is most appreciative to the Farr family members who have contributed photographs, biographical information and finances to see this worthwhile book through to completion. His desire is to see this book in every Lorin Farr descendant's home.
David is President of the Winslow Farr Sr. Family Organization. He loves to see the wonderful research the family has done on various family lines and the several thousand ordinances completed. He has been 42 years in the insurance business and still enjoys consulting with his clients. He is married to Patricia LeSueur Farr. They are the parents of 4 children and have 6 grandchildren.
